Wasted on the Young

Well, it took me long enough to get to this point in time.

But I want to go to camp. I want to have someone else plan activities and meals. I want to go swimming, boating and do arts and crafts. I want to hide from the head counselors when I don't feel like going to activities. Be in the major play. Yeah, am even willing to deal with color war.

Don't forget the activities you spent the most time doing when you actually did go to camp ....

Maybe Josh will do the construction while you are gone (V'hameven Yovin)

In my family, "gone" would have been follwed by "im yirtza Hashem".

No, I think I'm ready for camp now. Though will probably still cry when I get on the bus...

And on visiting day... wait, will we still have to visit you, or is that Uncle Rant's job? Or maybe Y3K will get to go and ask your counselors how you are behaving...

Message from the Head Counselors Union:

You can run, but you can't hide.

One more thing to consider:
-Calisthenics

Y2-Oh please, whose afraid of a 19 year old with a clipboard and sunglasses?

Aunt A -

Hey, that's only girls camps that are so disorganized. In MY camp, the 19-year old with a clipboard and sunglasses is only the ASSISTANT head counselor!

You know there's no lineup for meals in boys camps?

And get Uncle A to check out the post on VIN on the kid (who is now fine) who had an accident diving into a pool at Karlin/Stolin.

Lots of comments on CTV!

No lineup? I had forgotten about lineup. Add that to the list of things I don't miss.
