62 Uses for Leftover Turkey

1. Throw it out! (Am pre-empting Aunt A on that one.)
2. Threaten your kids with it. "Whoever doesn't behave has to eat 6 week old turkey bits that are still sitting in my fridge..."

Ok, you guys, let's see if we can hit 62.

Aunt A would like to point out (in addition to the aforementioned obvious) that if you don't make turkey in the first place, there is no leftover turkey.

Also, has anyone else noticed that Aunt Rant is not so much ranting as giving us topics to rant about for her?

Maybe Aunt Rant has gotten all her gripes out and has none left!

Doesn't Reb Moishe Feinstein have a tshuva about the celebration of thanksgiving with its rituals (Turkey, pumpkin pie, etc.) being assur? If it is, then there's no leftover Turkey. Just leftover roast or chicken! Ya, I know, I'm super yeshivish!

Not, gasp, Mommy under the sink?!?

Yesh, that was my next guess, but I didn't want to mix acronyms.

DG: There is ALWAYS leftover turkey. No matter how much you eat, it just seems to regenerate itself.

MOGO: Zeidie only eats the bones. We still need someone to eat the meat.

There is rarely if ever leftover turkey in my house.

There's rarely any leftover ham or cheeseburgers in your house, either (although there may be some "kosher style" marshmallows...)

Hey! If you are going to cast aspersions on the level of kashrus in our house (not a smart idea if you are hoping to get married) you ought to recall that there actually were leftover cheeseburgers during the 9 days!

Come on...we need a liberal minded girl...if cheeseburgers are a deal breaker maybe we should look elsewhere.

OK, in case our dating pool wasn't small enough, now we need someone who is not makpid about kashrus, but won't mind chinuch...
